Coating adhesion and durability depend on a clean, properly prepared base. We choose the process to suit the material, surface condition, part shape and the coating system that follows.

Process options

Henkel chemical pretreatment

Our powder line uses iron phosphating. Our KTL line uses zinc phosphating, either on its own before powder or wet coating, or as part of the full KTL process.

Part design and surface condition

Before series production, we check the incoming surface, hanging method, electrical contact, venting of cavities, drainage and masking requirements.
